The eighth match of the ongoing Abu Dhabi T10 League is set to take place between Bangla Tigers and Deccan Gladiators at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on November 30.
In the opening match of the tournament, the Gladiators secured a 22-run victory over the New York Strikers. Despite no other batter from the Gladiators making a significant contribution, Tom Kohler-Cadmore showcased his batting prowess by scoring 68 off 33 balls, leading his team to a total of 118.
The Gladiators’ bowlers successfully defended the score, restricting the Strikers to just 96 runs, securing a positive start to the tournament.
On the other hand, the Bangla Tigers are yet to play a match in this year’s edition, making this their first appearance in the tournament. With strong batters like Kusal Mendis, Saim Ayub, and Rassie van der Dussen, the team is poised for a competitive performance.
Led by the experienced Shakib Al Hasan, one of the world’s best all-rounders and a cricketing great from Bangladesh, the Bangla Tigers are eager to begin the tournament on a positive note. Meanwhile, the Gladiators aim to continue their winning streak.
