NEW ZEALAND WOMEN
This was a competitive group and New Zealand Women have just done an excellent job to stay at the top of the group, at least up until now. This upcoming match will be of massive importance for that too as a win over England Women will not only send a message to the other opponents but will also brim their side with confidence.
On the points table at the moment, they are placed at the top position with four points and a net run-rate of 1.450. They started their campaign with a win against South Africa Women and topped that off with another remarkable win over Sri Lanka Women. Coming into the match against England Women, they will be brimming with confidence owing to the momentum they have garnered.
On paper, New Zealand Women have an excellent side and despite missing some of their key players, they have done an excellent job. Katherine Brunt bowled an economic spell against South Africa and her all-around effort played a big role in the victory for the England side.
