An ex-partner of Michael Slater has come forward with disturbing text messages she claims the former cricketer sent to her.

A Victorian mother of three has told The Herald Sun that Slater allegedly threatened to release personal photos and videos he took of her without her knowledge or consent and threatened to send them to her children.

The woman, who has described Slater as a “narcissist”, says she asked Slater to sign a legal deed agreeing not to publish the intimate images.

The text messages he is accused of sending include claims the woman, who has not been identified, was “heartless” for not resuming their relationship, which began in 2016 after she cut ties with the 52-year-old.

“I am going to do my best to make you feel my pain,” he allegedly sent in one of the messages.

“I’m now completely over you and going to bring you down. No one deserves the treatment I’ve received.

He also allegedly sent “I feel like a worthless piece of s***” as a result of the woman’s refusal to engage with him.

The woman alleges Slater threatened self-harm if she did not consent to resume their relationship.

She also alleges she was physically assaulted by Slater and was thrown to the ground in one incident.

Reports say that Slater is currently in a Sydney mental health facility.

Slater is banned from contacting several complainants who have apprehended violence orders against him.

Slater again fronted court last month after police rushed to his Sydney home on July 14 over concern for his welfare before he was transported in an ambulance to Northern Beaches Hospital.

He was charged with breaching his bail.

He was granted strict conditional bail, meaning he must stay away from alcohol and drugs, and be of good behaviour.

Charges relating to a separate incident in 2021 were dismissed on mental health grounds earlier this year.

Slater will return to court to fight the charges in January next year.

He began his career in 1993 and played 74 tests for Australia through 2001.
