It was 43 overs a side game as rain interrupted the proceedings. After they were asked to bat first, the Bangladesh women’s team managed a score of 135 runs at the loss of 6 wickets. Their bowlers tried valiantly to salvage the match by picking up five wickets however, there were just not enough runs on the board. The Aussies chased down the total eventually to seal the match in the 33rd over. In the 135 runs total Bangladesh put up, the main contributor was Lata Mondal with 33 runs.
