The 16th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 is scheduled to get underway very soon, as the season opener of the tournament is scheduled on March 31. Last year’s finalists, Rajasthan Royals, will once again be looking to go deep into the tournament after they roped in many big names at the 2023 IPL auction.

Jos Buttler

England star Jos Buttler has been sensational for Rajasthan Royals over the years. Buttler’s performances during IPL 2022 were integral to the side managing to reach the summit clash of the tournament. With a whopping 863 runs in 17 matches, Buttler was the highest run-getter of the tournament and deservedly won the orange cap as well. 

Riyan Parag

In recent times, Riyan Parag has become one of the most exciting cricketers in the world. Despite just being 21 years old, Parag has gained quite a lot of experience under his belt. He has been in fabulous form for Assam this season, and the youngster will look to continue that form in the upcoming 2023 season. In 2022, Parag played 17 games and only managed to score 183 runs. Seeing his recent domestic form, he will be coming into the tournament brimming with confidence. 

Yashasvi Jaiswal

Rajasthan Royals’ line-up is filled with youngsters; one of the most promising players in their side is the 21-year-old Yashasvi Jaiswal. In the ten matches that Jaiswal played in the 2022 IPL, he scored 258 runs and was key in providing the desired start for the side on most occasions. Jaiswal has also been in fabulous form in domestic cricket and it could turn out to be highly beneficial for Rajasthan if he converts that form in the upcoming tournament.
