Sandeep Sharma, acknowledged as one of the Indian Premier League’s (IPL) most skilled bowlers, entered the league in the 2013 IPL season. Throughout 121 matches, he has claimed 133 wickets with an impressively low economy rate of 8. He has secured one five-wicket haul in the IPL, achieving his best bowling figures of 5/18. Sandeep has earned a total of  INR 17,000,000 from his participation in the IPL.

Beginning his IPL voyage with the Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) in 2013, Sandeep has demonstrated remarkable adaptability and prowess by thriving across three distinct franchises. His versatility and skill have been prominently showcased throughout his career in the league.

IPL 2013, IPL 2014, IPL 2015, IPL 2016 and IPL 2017 – Punjab Kings: In his inaugural season, PBKS acquired him at the base price of  INR 10 lakh. Following impressive performances, he received a salary increase in 2014, earning 85 lakh INR. He remained with PBKS until 2017, maintaining the same salary of INR 85 lakh.

IPL 2018, IPL 2019, IPL 2020 and IPL 2021—Sunrisers Hyderabad: Following his outstanding performances with PBKS, Sandeep was acquired by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 2018 auction for a whopping INR 3 crore. This marked a significant salary boost for him, and he remained with SRH until 2021, consistently earning the same salary each year.
