This score rewrites the record books, as it becomes the highest team total in IPL history. The previous record of 263/5 belonged to the Royal Challengers Bangalore against Pune Warriors in 2013.

The dominance of SRH batsmen was on full display. Travis Head blazed to a quickfire 18-ball fifty, including nine fours and three sixes, before departing for a well-made 62. Abhishek Sharma stole the show with a record-breaking knock. His 16-ball fifty, laced with three fours and seven towering sixes, makes him the fastest SRH batsman to reach a half-century in the IPL.

SRH continued to pile on the runs, reaching a massive 148/2 at the halfway mark – the highest team score after 10 overs in IPL history. They didn’t relent in the death overs either, adding a further 75 runs in the final five overs to put Mumbai Indians under immense pressure.
