In the game, KKR set a daunting target of 273 runs for DC to chase. However, DC‘s batting faltered, and they were eventually bowled out for 166 runs, resulted in a convincing victory for KKR in this IPL encounter.

In the 19th over of first innings  Rinku Singh turned up the aggression against Anrich Nortje. He unleashed a flurry of power hitting, smashing three sensational sixes and a crunching four. This late-innings onslaught proved crucial in propelling the KKR total to a massive 272.

Sunil Narine‘s explosive batting at the top of the order has surprised many in IPL 2024. However, this isn’t a new strategy for him. KKR slam door shut on DC comeback, clinch dominant IPL match victory

KKR crushed DC by 106 runs in a high-scoring IPL 2024 encounter. They piled on 272/7, powered by Narine’s 85, Angkrish Raghuvanshi‘s 54, and Rinku’s 26. Their bowlers then stifled DC, dismissing them for 166. Despite valiant fifties from Rishabh Pant and Tristan Stubbs,( 55 and 54 respectively) Vaibhav Arora, Varun Chakaravarthy (3 wickets each), and  Mitchell Starc (2 wickets) sealed a dominant KKR victory.
