IND vs AUS: Tickets for first T20I in Visakhapatnam to be sold from November 15

Right after the conclusion of the ongoing ODI World Cup, India are slated to play a five-match T20I series against Australia, starting November 23 in Visakhapatnam. The tickets for the same will be available online from November 15 as Secretary of Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) S. R. Gopinath Reddy confirmed. 

Meanwhile, offline tickets will be available for sale as well. The fans can buy it on November 17 and 18 at three different places – B Grounds at Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium, Gajuwaka and PM Palem, Indira Priyadarshini Stadium, One Town from 10 a.m.

As per the local authorities, the ticket prices are finalised and will be available for INR 600, INR 1,500, INR 2,000, INR 3,000, INR 3,500 and INR 6,000 respectively. Fans buying online tickets can redeem it from the counters from November 19 to November 23.

BCCI yet to finalise squads

Even though the series is set to begin in less than 10 days, BCCI is yet to finalise the squad for the series. As per reports, a number of senior Indian cricketers will miss the series as it will be right after the World Cup. In their absence, Ruturaj Gaikwad or Suryakumar Yadav is expected to lead the team. A lot of youngsters, especially the squad which represented the national team in the Asian Games are likely to get a call-up in the team.

Meanwhile, Australia have given rest to pacers Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood ahead of their Test series against Pakistan. The likes of Steven Smith, Glenn Maxwell, Adam Zampa and David Warner are part of the squad as Matthew Wade has been named the captain. 

All-rounders Marcus Stoinis and Cameron Green are not part of the squad as the duo is likely to focus on the upcoming Big Bash League, which is slated to begin on December 7. A lot of focus will be on youngster Tanveer Sangha, who was close to earn a call-up in the ODI World Cup but couldn’t make it in the end.
