India and Netherlands are locking horns in Match 44 of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 on Sunday, November 12 at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. India captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bat first. The Indian skipper vindicated the decision himself by adding 100 runs for the first wicket with Shubman Gill. Apart from the riveting cricketing action on the field, fans were in for a treat in the commentary box as well, as former New Zealand cricketer turned commentator Ian Smith was spotted mimicking Ravi Shastri’s commentary style.

The incident took place in the 30th over of the innings as Smith appreciated Shastri for reinventing the toss which otherwise used to be a boring affair with two captains and match referee. However, the former India cricketer turned commentator didn’t agree with Smith and stated that it’s still the same which forced Smith to mimick him and show him the difference.
