The much-anticipated T20 World Cup clash between India and Pakistan turned into a nail-biting thriller, with the Men in Blue emerging victorious by a narrow margin of 6 runs.

Pakistan’s bowlers stole the show early on, restricting India to a paltry 119 in their 20 overs. Rishabh Pant’s knock of 42 runs was a lone bright spot for India, as the rest of the batting lineup faltered against a disciplined Pakistani bowling attack. T20 World Cup Super 8 Qualification Scenario for Pakistan

Pakistan currently have 0 points after two matches, putting their qualification chances in jeopardy. The team, led by Babar, must win their remaining matches against Canada and Ireland while hoping that neither the United States of America (USA) nor Canada win any more games.

Even if Pakistan wins both matches and the USA loses their remaining two games, advancement to the Super 8 stage will depend on Net Run Rate (NRR). If both teams get tied at 4 points after 4 matches, Pakistan will need several favourable outcomes to proceed.
