Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh has lambasted Inzamam-ul-Haq for making unsubstantiated and “baseless” claims. Inzamam was heard stating in a clip that Harbhajan, alongside other Indian players, attended religious sessions with Maulana Tariq Jameel and expressed desire to convert to Islam.

In response, Harbhajan vehemently denied the accusations, labelling them as baseless and insensitive. This controversy has sparked a heated debate, emphasizing the need for caution and responsibility when discussing personal beliefs within the context of sportsmanship.
