SRI LANKA may be in crisis right now, and with this all are saddened. In the spirit of athletic professionalism and solidarity in the sport, cricket leagues in and around Asia are still up, and much of what exists must be appreciated.
Leagues to feast your spectacles on
Caribbean Premier League – the league is set to start on September 1, 2022 which falls on a Thursday. First match, T20 between SKN Patriots and the Jamaica Tallawahs. On the same day, St. Lucia Kings faced off with Trinbago Knight Riders. September 2 is something to watch out for, as Barbados Royals will compete against SKN Patriots. Third day of September and of the CPL will be fought between the Jamaica Tallawahs and the Amazon Warriors.
Watch out for the Barbados Royals squad headed by Jason Holder (Squad Captain) The Barbados Royals (BR) team competes in the Caribbean Premier League as a Twenty20 franchise cricket side (CPL). In Barbados, in the West Indies, this franchise team is headquartered.
Rajasthan Royals is the team owner of Barbados Royals. The Kensington Oval is the site of the team’s home games.
Jason Holder will be the team’s captain, and Trevor Penney will serve as its coach. The premier professional Twenty20 cricket league in the West Indies is called Caribbean Premier League (CPL), and it is run by the Board of Cricket West Indies.
The Barbados Royals are a possible emerging titlist. With a decent performance since 2013, the squad had garnered 2 championship wins in previous leagues, and consistent league stager yet with a very decent semifinalist spotting. This begs to suggest a possible imminent win any time soon, most possibly in the Caribbean Premier League, so everyone must watch out the ripening of this emerging Squad.
The 6XTY League – Beginning on August 24, men’s and women’s teams will compete in a brand-new 60-ball competition for the first time as part of THE 6IXTY. The first iteration of THE 6IXTY will take place at Warner Park in St. Kitts & Nevis from August 24 to 28.
The Barbados Royals, Jamaica Tallawahs, and Saint are three of the six teams that will compete in the men’s version. Three teams will compete in the women’s tournament: Barbados Royals, Trinbago Knight Riders, St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots, and Guyana Amazon Warriors. Lucia Kings, Trinbago Knight Riders, St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots, and Guyana Amazon Warriors.

Recent league series – Bangladesh Tour of Zimbabwe
As per published cricket schedule, the Bangladesh Tour of Zimbabwe 2022 was set to start on Saturday, July 30, 2022.
