Nepal and UAE will lock horns in the second T20I of the Oman Quadrangular T20I series at Al Amerat Cricket Ground (Ministry Turf 1), Al Amerat on February 12, Saturday.
Nepal were spot on in the first T20I after winning the toss and forcing Oman to bat first. Abinash Bohra was top-class with his spell of 3/26 in four overs. Oman could post only 135/6 in 20 overs. Nepal, while chasing, took 19.3 overs to chase down the target.
Dipendra Singh Airee was the wrecker-in-chief with his 53-ball 73-run unbeaten knock. Oman bowlers failed badly to contain the run flow in the middle overs as Nepal cruised through quite convincingly in a calculated manner.
On the other hand, United Arab Emirates would be eager to get game time and make it big in their first match of the series. Ahmed Raza would be leading the power packed side in this series ahead of the T20 World Cup Qualifier. This series would be a perfect practice going into the qualifier.
