Date: 23 January 2023
Format: One-day Location: Harare Sports Club in Zimbabwe’s Harare

Time: 07:15 The third and final one-day international between Ireland and Zimbabwe will take place on Monday at the Harare Sports Club ground, with the one-day series tied at one game each. The hosts Zim started the series on top with a close victory by three wickets on Wednesday, but the Irish team made a comeback in the second game and won by 46 runs on Saturday. For information on this game’s pitch, weather, and betting strategies, continue reading.

Zim’s decision to make three changes to their team for Saturday’s match came as a bit of a surprise. They would have won the series with a victory here. They did not appear to be a good team with their skipper Craig Ervine absent. Ireland was able to end their run of ODI defeats with success. Now that they have won the series, they will be eager to win this one. They have every reason to be hopeful of winning.

ZIM VS. IRE TEAM PREVIEWS ZIMBABWE

Prior to Saturday’s second game in the one-day series against Ireland, the Zim team made three changes. On the side, they added Chamu Chibhabha, Tendai Chatara, and Tadiwanashe Marumani. Craig Ervine, the injured skipper, was replaced by Chatara. Wellington Masakadza and Wesley Madhevere were the other players who were removed from the team. Craig Irvine, Zim’s captain, is also likely to miss this one day, so Sikandar Raza will lead the team in his absence.

Gary Ballance is a key member of the Zim team. In Zimbabwe’s last game, this left-handed batsman from England scored a half-century. After only scoring two fours in his half-century, he will be eager to hit more in this match. Sikandar Raza is a great player and top all-rounder. The captaincy is unlikely to have any effect on him. With either the bat or the ball, he is quite capable of winning the remaining one-day international by himself. The Tendai Chatara team features a right-handed fast-medium bowler who is 31 years old.

Zimbabwe’s opening bowler, Chatara, was successful in picking wickets later. In the game on Saturday, he bowled out Curtis Campher, Harry Tector, and George Dockrell. Following their victories over Ireland and Australia, Zimbabwe’s one-day winning streak came to an end. The Zimbabwean team’s other key all-rounder is Ryan Burl. He has made eight appearances for Zimbabwe and has scored 181 runs at an average of 25.86. He has also taken nine wickets in eight matches at a strike rate of 16.66.

IRELAND

Following the unexpected victory on Saturday, Ireland will not seek to alter their lineup. Murray Commins was added to the team ahead of Andy Balbirnie, resulting in this victory in the second match. Due to a concussion, Balbirnie had to miss the game and is likely to miss this one as well. For this game on Monday, the eleven will remain unchanged. Paul Stirling was Ireland’s stand-in skipper on Saturday, scoring 45 runs off 61 balls in the second day.

Sadly, the opener’s attempt to increase Ireland’s run rate ended in a wicket loss. Additionally, other teams fear him as a batsman. In the one-day internationals, Harry Tector is having a fantastic run. In this game format, he has an overall average of 53.55 and hit 8 fours in his innings on Saturday. Fast bowler Josh Little, who is 23 years old, won the player of the match award on Saturday. He will be thrilled to have another opportunity to use the same batsmen on the same surface.

With a victory on Saturday, Ireland was able to end a run of four defeats in a row, and it was a decisive victory. In his last ten games for Ireland, Harry Tector has scored 628 runs at an average of 89.71 and a strike rate of 90.35. Andy McBrine is a good bowler for Ireland. He has taken 15 wickets in ten matches and has a strike rate of 31.60. Additionally, he bowls at a good economy rate of 4.56. With a strike rate of 32.14, Josh Little has taken 14 wickets for Ireland in his last ten matches.

Prediction for the ZIM vs. IRE Match Toss:
