GROS ISLET, St. Lucia – The home crowd is ecstatic about this victory. With a much-needed victory, Saint Lucia moves up to third place with four points. Perfect use was made of the circumstances. went hard at the top knowing that batting with the new ball was best. They then had yet another collapse until some shrewd batting helped them to a respectable score. Forde picked up three wickets despite a respectable run rate, but the Patriots lost far too many during the powerplay. With little dew present, it became challenging to score after the tempo was reduced.

In order to help St. Lucia Kings (SLK) win their second crucial match of CPL 2022, Faf Du Plessis scored 35 balls in 60. As they chased 162, the Patriots were bowled out for just 100. For the winners, Matthew Forde & David Wiese both took three wickets.

With four points from six games following the victory, ST. Lucia Kings are now ranked third in the POINTS Table. On the other side, the Patriots have dropped to fourth place. In 6 games, they had only one victory. Two of their matches were unsuccessful.

Commentary on the match
