The eighth edition of the all-exciting Pakistan Super League is scheduled to kickstart from 13 February to 19 March. The tournament will commence with Multan Sultans clashing against defending champions Lahore Qalandars in repeat of last season’s final. In the previous impressive editions, Babar Azam is the leading run-getter with 2,413 runs in 68 matches, however, is yet to notch up his maiden century in the league. Similarly, other batters in the competition will be aiming to make a mark in the event. With the new edition set to commence in less than two weeks time, we take a look at the top five batters with the best strike-rate in the league-

5. David Wiese – 169.23

During his stint in the PSL thus far with the Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars, the veteran cricketer is among the list of batters with the highest strike rate. In 29 innings, he aggregated 484 runs with an impressive strike rate of 169.23.

4. Harry Brook – 171.42

The young English lad has burst onto the scene producing some phenomenal performance for the teams he has represented thus far. Representing the Lahore Qalandars last season, the batter took the PSL by storm with a majestic century (102*). In his 10 matches in the event, he attained a stunning strike rate of 171.42. 

3. Paul Stirling – 173.64

Whenever the Irish batter gets into his zone, he has proven to be aggressive. Paul Stirling has featured for the Islamabad United and amassed 257 runs in eight innings. With this, the batter has got a strike rate of 173.64 which keeps him third on the list of batters with best strike-rate.

2. Chris Lynn – 173.77

Chris Lynn has established himself as an aggressive hitter of the ball and it is only natural that he makes it into the list of batters with the best strike-rates. With 173.64, Lynn stands second on the charts with the highest strike rate. 

1. Tim David – 182.47

The Australian batter enjoys coming down the middle order and hammering massive runs for his side. Tim David has played for Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans in the top-tier league thus far. Of all the batters, Tim has the best strike rate with 182.47 and tops the list among the batters in the league.
