The Scorchers saw their last game against Hobart Hurricanes Women abandoned due to rain.

This win has strengthened their position on the points table. McGrath shall look to continue with the same form as they take on the strongest side in the tournament.  

Deandra Dottin and Katie Mack must build a strong partnership in this game, opening the batting. It has been one of the major weaknesses of the side. Laura Wolvaardt has looked good, and she must anchor the innings in the middle overs alongside Bridget Patterson and McGrath. Madeline Penna and Amanda Wellington shall look to push the scoring rate in the final overs of the innings.   

Darcie Brown and Megan Schutt have been bowling well and shared 8 wickets in the last game. Devine shall expect a spirited performance from her players in this contest.  

Sophie Devine and Beth Mooney have shown good form this season, and they must deliver a good start here. In the middle order, the side would expect runs from the bats of Chloe Piparo, Maddy Green, and Marizanne Kapp. The side has depth in its batting, and they’d expect runs from Mathilda Carmichael, Amy Louise Edgar, and Piepa Cleary.
