A new wave of kabaddi players is emerging during the Yuva Kabaddi Series Monsoon Edition 2023, which is being held in Madurai. The competition seeks to increase public awareness of the sport. One of the many things they believe can assist grow the sport’s fan base is their unique structure, which consists of 116 exciting contests during the first five rounds.
There are just eight teams left in the Yuva Kabaddi series, which is being played at the Fatima College Indoor Stadium in Madurai. The first five rounds have been concluded. Now that the eight teams are competing in the playoffs, an exciting race for the championship is about to begin.
The eight teams that have survived are the Palani Tuskers, Panchala Pride, Vijayanagara Veers, Hampi Heroes, Chola Veerans, Aravalli Arrows, Murthal Magnets, and Nilgiri Knights.
All eight teams gave outstanding performances in every game they played, but two teams in particular stood out: Palani Tuskers as well as Chola Veerans. Together with the Nilgiri Knights, both sides proved their mettle during the promotion stage and earned their spots in the summit round.
The other clubs still had to compete on the pitch, with the exception of the three that had already guaranteed a spot in the playoffs. Ultimately, to secure their spots, the Panchala Pride, Vijayanagara Veers, Aravalli Arrows, Murthal Magnets, as well as Hampi Heroes showed remarkable perseverance during the survival round.
The Monsoon Edition of the Yuva Kabaddi Series has given young Indian players a stage on which to shine. India’s kabaddi scene is clearly bright, as seen by the amazing performances put on by up-and-coming players.
Suresh Veeraswami Oruganti, 23, of Vijayanagara Veers, is one of the outstanding performers. He has accumulated an amazing 192 raid points with his exceptional raiding abilities. With 66 points, Murthal Magnets’ Sonu Mahender Rathee is atop the defence rankings.
