Deputy Commissioner inaugrates U-19 Inter District Girls’ Kabaddi Tournament

The long-awaited U-19 Inter District Girls’ Kabaddi Tournament was officially opened today in this location’s Mini Stadium by Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Vikas Kundal. Other senior executives from the Physical Education Department, including Assistant Commissioner of Revenue (ACR) Imran Kataria, District Youth Services and Sports Officer (DYSSO) Sunil Singh Samyal, Chief Education Officer (CEO) Sultana Kouser were also present.

The Tournament, which brings together talented Kabaddi players from all sections of the region, strives to promote women’s sports and cultivate an atmosphere of healthy competition. The DC involved in a lively conversation with the young kids throughout the opening ceremony to emphasise the value of sports in a well-rounded education. He emphasised the numerous advantages of sports for young people, such as physical fitness, self-discipline, teamwork, and resilience. 

He encouraged women to actively participate in athletics and inspired the young girls to tenaciously pursue their sporting ambitions. The players were inspired and inspired to perform well in the Tournament by the dignitaries’ unfailing support and encouragement.

A kabaddi player passed away in the district’s Khokhar hamlet under dubious circumstances. The player who passed away was the parents’ only son. He was said to have developed a chitta addiction. The cops are currently looking into the situation. Information indicated the death of Kabaddi player Harbhajan Singh, also known as Bhajana, 35, of the village of Khokhar.
