The 37 National Games is scheduled to take place in Goa, on October 25. The inauguration of the tournament will be done by the Primer Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi. The Kabbadi was India’s national game at one time the game will start on November 3 and will end on November 7 at the Campal Multi-Purpose Indoor Stadium. At the National Games 2023, eight men’s and eight women’s kabaddi teams will compete for the gold medal in their respective seeds.

The eight teams are there in both the men’s and women’s kabaddi competitions have been grouped into two groups of four teams each. In the men’s kabaddi competition at the National Games 2023, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Chandigarh, and Punjab are in Group A, while Goa, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Services are in Group B.

There will be a round-robin format with every team playing against each other. After that, the top two teams would qualify for the knockout stages from men’s and women’s respectively. Maharashtra took on Punjab in the opening match for the men’s game. Uttar Pradesh were the winners when they beat Maharashtra 27-23 in the final. The matches will be live on JioCinema App, National Games Goa 2023’s Youtube channel, and the Prasar Bharati Sports Youtube channel.
