The second day of Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan’s block-level tournament for boys and girls in eight sports has begun. The second day of the Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan block-level tournament for boys and girls in eight different sports began on Sunday.
Blocks Dehlon, Khanna, Ludhiana-2, Sidhwan Bet, as well as Sudhar hosted the under-17 boys and girls as well as the 41-55 age divisions during the tournament’s opening day on Saturday. These five blocks’ matches will go on till Monday.
The under-17 boys’ national style kabaddi competition was held in Ludhiana-2 block at Government Smart School Sahnewal, where Government High School Jaspal Bangar won first place, then following Government School Harnampura in second place, with Government School Umairpura Tibba in third.

HVM School Ludhiana won the under-17 division of the kabaddi competition, with Descent School Bhamian taking second.
With regard to the track competitions, Anjali Kumari of Government High School Ramgarh took first place in the 100-meter race, followed by Kajal and Amanjot of Government High School Paddi.
In the 200-meter sprint, Riya Tiwari from Tagore Public School Sahnewal and Muskan Kaur from Government High School Ramgarh finished first and second, respectively. Simrandeep Kaur from Government High School Ramgarh won the long jump competition, followed by Muskan Kaur and Anjali Kumari in second and third place.
Block-level events were also held at GHG Khalsa College, Gurusar Sudhar, in Sudhar, where the Mohi squad won the under-17 boys’ football competition, followed by Mullanpur in second and Khandoor in third.
Sarinh won the under-17 boys’ kabaddi competition, with Aassi coming in second and Dasmesh Public School Baddowal taking third. The games for under-17 girls will be held in Kila Raipur Stadium. Up to September 10, Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan will feature championships in all sports, including athletics, football, kho-kho, national style kabaddi, volleyball, shooting, volleyball smashing, and tag war.
