Young Pawan Sehrawat is one of the greatest young talents in the Kabbadi World who is setting the league on fire.
The youngster played a key role in his side Telegu Titans close win over the Tamil Thalaivas. After yet another lion-hearted performance Pawan Sehrawat was overjoyed with the win.
His latest successes on the court has seen him being awarded the prestigious Arjuna Award. The 27-year-old star raider has revealed how the award has made him hungrier for success and is striving to achieve greater heights.
Pawan Sehrawat riding high on confidence
Moments after winning a close game on Friday against the Tamil Thalaivas, Pawan Sehrawat was grinning from eart-to-ear. The 27-year-old recently has been acknowledged with the prestigious Arjuna Award.
Speaking about the honor, the 27-year-old said “The Arjuna Award is the biggest award for all sportspersons in India and the Award has given me a huge boost to perform even better. And also, the fans in Chennai have welcomed me with open arms. I couldn’t play much for the Tamil Thalaivas last season, but the team’s fans have still showered me with love.”
The skipper of the Telegu Titans side was happy with the close win on Friday, when he was heard saying “We are certainly happy with the win. It is a long season. We’ll prepare well for the other games”
Despite the win, there was one aspect that Pawan Sehrawat wasn’t happy with and that is the defense. The star raider said “Our defense is still not playing at its best. The unit doesn’t even give me a single point during the practice sessions. They can certainly play better”
Puneri Paltan lead the table with 26 points from 6 games, while Jaipur Pink Panther are 2nd. The Season 1 Winners have 25 points with 4 fours and losses plus a drawn game. Pawan Sehrawat and his Telegu side are bottom of the table with the win against the Tamil Thalaivas side their first of the season.
