This will be another exciting contest of the season as the Steelers take on the table toppers. Bengaluru Bulls had a scare in their last game as they managed to beat the Jaipur Pink Panthers. After leading throughout the match, the Pink Panthers came back to take a one-point lead in the last minute of the game. It was the alertness and agility of Vikash Kandola that saved the day for the Bulls. They remain on top of the points table.

Haryana Steelers had to struggle a bit in their last few games. They lost 3 consecutive games which led their fans to lose faith. But they came back in style to beat the Telugu Titans and then forced a TIE in their next game. But they need to fire up quickly as the match against the Bulls will not be an easy one. They are placed 8th in the points table and desperately need to win more games to move into the top 6.

Haryana Steelers Preview

The Haryana Steelers have struggled a bit this season. They have a wonderful group of players but they need to show some consistency. They started well but lost 3 back to back games which hurt them badly. Either their defense was toothless or the raiders failed to win. Lack of momentum pushed them back to the 8th place in the points table.

They came back in style to beat the Telugu Titans but had a tough game against the Puneri Paltan. Once again their defense was not impressive against the Paltan and they were fortunate to slip away with a TIE. Off late, the Steelers are facing a rare defensive disorder. Captain Nitin Rawal has not been able to make much of an impact. He plays at the left corner and loose corners in kabaddi are always an invitation for trouble.

Haryana Steelers have been able to execute 72 successful team tackles in 8 games.

They have also executed 8 Super tackles which proves that they have less number of players on the mat for a large portion of the game which is not ideal.

The Steelers have inflicted 9 all-outs but have conceded 11 in 8 games.

Bengaluru Bulls Preview

Table toppers the Bengaluru Bulls deserve all the applause as they have worked their way to the top. They have been consistent, and tactically alert and they have played as a team. They have won 5 out of their 8 games and seldom have displayed any weakness.

They had a tough game against the Jaipur Pink Panthers which went down the wire. After holding the Pink Panthers to 19-19, they had to scamper in the end. It was one of the tensest matches of the season as both teams were locked at 30-30 in the last minute. Pink Panther raider Ajith scored a bonus to give his team the lead. In the last 30 seconds, raider Vikash Kandola struck gold and due to his agility not only got 3 defenders but got Jaipur all-out too thus helping his team to win the game.

It was a raider’s delight as Vikash, Bharat, and Neeraj Narwal scored 24 raid points between them. The defense worked well though captain Mahender looked out of sorts. Defenders Aman and Saurav Nandal were at their best while right cover Mayur Kadam got into the groove with this match.

Overall the Bengaluru Bulls look by far the most accomplished team on the circuit. 

They have conducted 148 successful team raids along with 72 successful team tackles.

The Bulls have also conceded 288 team points which is on the higher side. They have inflicted the highest number of all-outs this season which is 16 but at the same time, the Bulls have conceded 13 all-outs.

Bengaluru Bulls may be on top of the points table but they need to exhibit some sobriety to trim down their mistakes. As the season progresses, they will need to be more miserly in conceding points while earning as much as possible.

Winning Prediction

Bengaluru Bulls had a tough time beating Jaipur Pink Panthers in their last game. They will have to recharge themselves quickly to take on the Haryana Steelers. 

The Steelers look desperate as they have to win every game from here. Raiders Meetu and Manjeet will look forward to looting points from the Bulls. They will target the out-of-form Bulls captain Mahender. They will also try to get points out of right-cover Mayur Kadam. Bengaluru Bulls succumb to pressure on occasions and the Steelers will look to get them all out very early in the match.

The Bengaluru Bulls will be on a high after beating the Pink Panthers. They have not lost their last 4 games. Vikash Kandola and Bharat will be expected to earn handsomely. But the surprise package will be raider Neeraj Narwal. His contribution is the difference between a win and a loss. Defenders Saurab Nandal and Aman will be active and they will target either Meetu or Manjeet very early.
