The auction of the 10th season of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) has recently taken place in the month of October. The all-rounders have been in the demand for the upcoming season. The teams have added some well-known all-rounders to their squad. The reason for the addition of all-rounders on the side is that they can contribute in a variety of ways besides also adding to the overall balance of a team.

Iranian allrounder Mohammadreza Shadloui Chiyaneh was sold to Puneri Paltan and is currently the most expensive all-rounder in PKL history. He made his debut in the 2022 season, scoring 89 tackle points which was the highest in that edition. With some other big names let us take a look at the top three most expensive all-rounder of PKL 2023 season.

3. Amirmohammad Zafardanesh, 68 lac INR (U Mumba) 

After being the most expensive player who went under the hammer on Day 2, the young Iranian player stole the show at the Player Auction. His efforts for Iran in the Asian Games were noticed, and he became the most expensive player from Category C at the Season 10 Player Auction. Many PKL teams competed for the young all-rounder, but it was U Mumba who finally signed Zafardanesh for 68 lac. 

2. Vijay Malik, 85 lac INR (U.P. Yoddhas) 

Vijay Malik is an experienced player who knows how to get the job done in raiding as well as defending. Malik has proven his ability, he has 366 raid points and 77 tackle points. In season 9 he missed the first half though had 74 raid points and 8 tackle points for Dabbang Delhi. 

1. Mohammadreza Chiyaneh 2.35 crore INR (Puneri Paltan)

Chiyaneh has been one of the most consistent performers since his Pro Kabaddi debut. He had 173 tackle points in two PKL seasons with the Patna Pirates. In Season 8, he finished as the league’s best defender with 89 tackle points. Last year he finished with 84 tackle points. He again joined the Paltans for 2.35 crore.
