Amid the ongoing Yuva Kabaddi Series Monsoon Edition, the organizers produced an exhibition match for the fans. In partnership with the Indian Association for the Blind, the committee organized a unique kabaddi match to promote empowerment and equality in the kabaddi community.
In the special game, visually impaired players showcased their remarkable skills and determination on the mat, highlighting the importance of inclusivity. The audience was captivated by their incredible abilities as the Madurai Knights triumphed over the Madurai Victors with a score of 61-47. S. Kaviraman from the Madurai Knights stood out with 11 tackle points, while Madan Raj secured 17 raid points, earning them the titles of best defender and best raider of the match, respectively.

The blind association has facilitated visually impaired students’ participation in national and international sports, showcasing their prowess globally. Over the last 15 years, these players have earned numerous national and international accolades. Notably, 14 visually impaired players from Tamil Nadu were among the participants in the Yuva Kabaddi exhibition match.
