RR counter-attacks with a clinical bowling masterclass against KKR

While Archer provided the initial spark, the Rajasthan Royals’ defense of 155 was built on a foundation of disciplined, tactical bowling that squeezed the life out of the KKR top order. After RR posted 155/9—thanks to a blistering 46 off 28 from young Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and a steady 39 from Yashasvi Jaiswal, the bowlers took over the mantle.

Following Archer’s breakthrough, Nandre Burger kept the pressure high, dismissing the KKR captain Ajinkya Rahane for a duck in the second over. Despite a brief, aggressive cameo from Cameron Green, who struck 27 off 13 balls, the RR spin twins took control of the middle overs. Ravindra Jadeja was particularly clinical, conceding only 5 runs in 2 overs and trapping Angkrish Raghuvanshi LBW for 10.
