Devastating second power surge over

Following a promising 13-run first Power Surge over, Evans unleashed a barrage of powerful shots against Hayden Kerr, accumulating an astounding 28 runs in the second Power Surge over. On the third delivery, Evans crouched and saucered a low full toss fine, skillfully paddling it for another six, with the shot coming right off the middle.

Moving forward, a full delivery on the middle allowed Evans to drive it elegantly for a boundary, pointing his front foot towards mid-on. On the penultimate ball, Kerr attempted to pull his length back, but Evans expertly executed a one-hand pull over short fine leg for a four. Ben Dwarshuis halts the rampage

Evans’ enthralling knock eventually concluded after scoring a remarkable 72 runs in just 34 balls, an innings that featured a stunning display of power and finesse.
