The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 has almost reached an end, with four teams having qualified for the playoffs. The Punjab Kings (PBKS) and the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will play in Qualifier 1, while the Gujarat Titans (GT) and the Mumbai Indians (MI) will play in the Eliminator. The teams have done remarkably well in the tournament, and now will play in the knockouts for that ultimate title.

The top two teams, PBKS and RCB, have yet to win an IPL title in the history of the tournament, so they will be super excited to reach this far. MI is one of the most successful teams in the league with five trophies, while GT have won one in 2022. Hence, the next four matches will be super interesting to watch.

Here are top 10 most valuable players in IPL 2025:

10. Nicholas Pooran – LSG

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) batter Nicholas Pooran played some quality cricket throughout the entire season, despite his team not doing great in terms of their outings in the league stages of the tournament. In 14 matches, the player scored 524 runs at an average of 43.67. His strike rate was 196.25, which was absolutely brilliant. Moreover, Pooran has scored five half-centuries in the tournament.

This season wasn’t that great for LSG in terms of qualification. However, the Caribbean southpaw contributed with the bat this season. He started the season on a fiery note, but somehow couldn’t continue with the momentum in all of the matches.

9. Noor Ahmad – CSK

Noor Ahmad, Chennai Super Kings’ (CSK) ace bowler, is among the leading wicket-takers of the IPL 2025. In 14 matches, he ended his campaign in this season having taken 24 wickets at an economy rate of 8.17. Ahmad has been incredible this season, being the only dependable bowler for CSK. The team didn’t perform well and ended up in the last position.

In the history of the IPL, CSK finished in last place for the first time ever because of their horrific performance in this season. None of the batters could perform in the middle order, and the bowlers failed to give their team the start it required. Hence, Ahmad came in handy for the team throughout the season.

8. Arshdeep Singh – PBKS

Punjab Kings (PBKS) bought Arshdeep Singh for INR 18 crores in the IPL, which was totally worth it. The bowler claimed 18 wickets in 13 matches, at an economy rate of 8.56. He was fierce with the ball, and the batters had a hard time facing him in the tournament. His contributions were valuable in leading PBKS to the playoffs.

Arshdeep is one of the best bowlers in the tournament, and his hard work was rewarded as he was included in India’s Test squad for the England series.

Bumrah played in ten matches and took 17 wickets at an economy of 6.33. He played like he was the backbone of MI’s bowling unit in some of the matches.
