The European Cricket Series (ECS) Italy, Bologna 2025, commenced on Sunday (April 13), at the Fabio Fabbri Cricket Ground, setting the stage for six days of fast-paced T10 cricket. Eight formidable teams are vying for the coveted title in this exciting tournament, which is scheduled to conclude on April 18.
The participating teams have been strategically divided into two groups to ensure competitive clashes right from the outset. Group A features the local team Bologna, alongside Fresh Tropical, Friends XI and Trentino Aquila. Group B consists of Brescia CC, Cividate, Markhor Milano and Panjab.
The group stage will witness an intense double round-robin format, where each team will face every other team within their group twice. This format guarantees a total of six matches for each team in the preliminary phase, providing ample opportunity for them to showcase their skills and strategies.
