Former India opener Virender Sehwag has delivered an entertaining moment on reality television after Punjabi actress Sara Gurpal claimed that several cricketers had sent her direct messages on social media. The conversation, which took place on ‘Rise & Fall Season 2’, quickly attracted attention online, particularly after Sehwag checked her phone and made a cheeky remark about one player’s batting form.

The conversation began when Sehwag brought up reports that several cricketers had contacted Sara through Instagram direct messages. The actress, who has worked in the Punjabi entertainment industry as a singer, model and actor, confirmed that she had received messages from multiple players.
“Bahut cricketers message karte hain,” Sara said, acknowledging that the interactions were not limited to just one or two cricketers.
She hinted that some of the messages might surprise the former India opener and also jokingly warned him that certain messages could even warrant a scolding.
“Some messages are such that you might have to scold them,” Sara told Sehwag.
Intrigued by her revelation, Sehwag asked to see her phone. Sara agreed, setting up a light-hearted exchange that quickly became a talking point among viewers.

The funniest moment came when Sehwag began looking through the chats. Reacting to one of the messages, the former India batter jokingly connected the interaction to the player’s recent performances on the cricket field.
“Arey waah. Isne bhi. Tabhi run nahi ban rahe mujhe jag raha.”
The remark, which translates roughly to “Oh wow, this one too. That’s why he isn’t scoring runs,” gave the conversation a distinctly cricketing twist.

The former opener then offered another clue about the people whose messages he had seen.
“Arey yeh lefty bhi hai, righty bhi hai… keeper bhi hai isme to.”

By referring to a left-handed batter, a right-handed batter and a wicketkeeper, Sehwag suggested that the messages involved cricketers with different playing styles and roles. However, he did not publicly identify the players.
