DC vs KKR Match Preview

DC, currently fourth on the points table with 6 wins from 9 matches are eyeing to move further on the table. After a flying start to the tournament, DC’s campaign has lost momentum with two defeats in their last three outings. Top-order batsman Karun Nair, who made a solid comeback to the IPL has yet to deliver again, while Faf du Plessis’s struggles have exacerbated DC’s opening woes. Their pace attack, led by Mitchell Starc has been expensive of late. However, DC have a good opportunity to make a strong comeback against a struggling KKR side on Tuesday.

Contrastingly, three-time champions Kolkata are struggling, with just 3 wins in 9 games, their playoff hopes hanging by a thread. Their previous game against Punjab Kings (PBKS) ended in a washout, further exacerbating their woes. However, the last match at the Arun Jaitley stadium shown some promising signs for the spinners. KKR’s Varun Chakaravarthy and Sunil Narine can exploit that opportunity to beat DC at their home.
