Suryakumar Yadav has made headlines by becoming the fifth Indian cricketer to surpass 8,000 runs in T20 cricket, joining an elite group that includes some of the most celebrated names in the sport. His achievement was highlighted during IPL 2025 match where he scored a quickfire 27 runs off just nine balls for Mumbai Indians (MI) against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), bringing his total to 8,007 runs in T20s.
