Harry Brook continued England‘s dominance on Day 3 of the first Test against Pakistan in Multan, adding to their strong position. Following former captain Joe Root’s remarkable century earlier in the day, Brook, the rising star of English cricket, took charge and delivered a dazzling century that left Pakistan struggling to stay in the game.

After Root’s milestone century in the second session, Brook showcased his own brilliance in the final session. Facing Saud Shakeel in the 84th over of England’s innings, Brook cut a flat outside-off delivery towards point, where a misfield allowed him to complete the couple of runs he needed to reach the 100-run mark. Celebrating the feat, Brook removed his helmet and raised his arms in triumph as his teammates applauded from the dressing room balcony.

Brook’s fourth century against Pakistan

This century marked Brook’s fourth Test hundred against Pakistan in just six innings—a remarkable achievement for the 25-year-old. Brook had dominated during England’s previous tour of Pakistan and has continued his impressive run in this series.
