The stage is all set for another exciting match between the West Indies and the USA in the MCW Over-40s Global Cricket Tournament on September 22 at the iconic Moin Khan Cricket Stadium in Karachi. The tournament started on September 19 and features matches across various venues in Karachi. Fans are eagerly anticipating this clash between the strong favourites, West Indies, and the USA team.

West Indies have won both of their matches in the tournament so far, while the USA have played two matches, lost one, and had one end with no result. In their last match, West Indies won by 61 runs using the DLS method, with captain Narsingh Deonarine smashing a brilliant hundred to secure the victory.

USA’s last match against Hong Kong was washed out due to rain. However, they put up a good show with the bat, scoring 268 runs thanks to excellent fifties by Anwar Ahmed and captain Muhammad Farrukh.

Cricket enthusiasts worldwide are excited about this tournament, where they can see their favourite players in action. The semifinals of the MCW Over-40s Global Cricket Tournament will take place on September 30, with the grand final scheduled for October 2.

Each team will play seven matches in this tournament, with the top four teams progressing to the semifinals. The PVCA (Pakistan Veterans Cricket Association) is confident that this unique tournament will be a remarkable success.
