Mitchell Van Buuren plucks a tremendous catch

While the match was highlighted by Super Giants batters and bowlers, there was one moment involving a Paarl Royals’ player who grabbed attention with his fielding heroics. Mitchell Van Buuren, who couldn’t contribute well enough with the bat, made a jaw-dropping effort on the field to take a spectacular catch that god rid of JJ Smuts.

The incident took place during the 18th over bowled by Lungi Ngidi when Smuts flicked the low full-toss in the air. For a moment, it appeared the ball would easily sail over the boundary but van Buuren had some other plans.
