A nail-biting affair in the first T20I saw Sri Lanka win the match on the last ball of the game. Dushamanta Chameera managed to take a double, which helped the hosts take a 1-0 lead in the series. Zimbabwe made an emphatic return in the second T20I, which was also decided in the final ball of the match. 20 runs were required in the final over as Luke Jongwe finished it off with a remarkable six.

The series is currently poised 1-1 and thus, the third match holds a lot of value. Especially for Sri Lanka, who will play in the T20 World Cup in just five months. They lacked character and experience, as the more they play, the better they will get. Zimbabwe, on the other hand, have been very impressive. Sikandar Raza has been remarkable for the team while Craig Ervine and Jongwe have done their bit in the last match.

3. Craig Ervine

Veteran batter Craig Ervine smacked 70 runs off 54 deliveries in the last match. He gave the much-needed start to Zimbabwe, which the other batters later capitalised on as the visitors won the match by four wickets. He will be crucial for the team once again as Zimbabwe would aim to get the job done in the final match of the series.

2. Charith Asalanka

Charith Asalanka was ruthless in the last match. The 26-year-old made 69 runs off 39 deliveries, which helped Sri Lanka post 173 runs on board in the second T20I. He will be vital for the team again, especially when the majority of the batters have struggled so far.

1. Sikandar Raza

Sikandar Raza has been exceptional with both bat and bowl. He has been extremely consistent in the shortest format and will be Zimbabwe’s biggest strength in the third T20I of the series.
