Cristiano Ronaldo kicks water bottle post losing a game in Saudi League

Portugal legend Cristiano Ronaldo lashed out after his side, Al-Nassr lost to Al-Ittihad. Also, the 37-year-old failed to score for the second consecutive time in the Saudi Pro League. He tried to score in the injury but Marcelo Grohe, parryied away a fierce shot from the Portugal international. Meanwhile, after the game, Ronaldo was seen kicking a bunch of water bottles lying on the side of the pitch. 

Talking about the game, Brazilian Romarinho scored when the game had only 10 minutes left in it. During the game, Al-Ittihad’s fans repeatedly chanting the name of Lionel Messi, the 2022 FIFA World Cup winning skipper for Argentina.

On the other hand, the Portugal international threw off his captain’s armband before regaining his composure. After the game, he thanked Al-Nassr supporters and promised them the better performances from the team.

“Disappointed with the result, but we stay focused on our season and the games ahead,” he tweeted. “Thank you Al-Nassr fans for your support, we know we can count on you!”

Talking about Ronaldo, he started with the Asian side after ending his contract with Manchester United late last year. Before the FIFA World Cup 2022, he gave an explosive interview to Piers Morgan and blasted on the Old Trafford-based team. After this, his contract was terminated although it was said that the development took place after a mutual agreement. 

Early this year, it was revealed that he will join his current team, Al Nassr for a sum of 75 million USD per year. This is the first time he is playing a league in the Asian continent.
