Kylian Mbappe’s Paris Saint-Germain has been eliminated from the Champions League as they lost the Last 16 game against Bayern Munich. With this, they have been eliminated from the title race. After the loss, Mbappe said that the team was built to win the tournament. He added that he asked the team to play to their potential and the team did the same.

“They have a team that’s built to win the Champions League. At the start of the season, in the first Champions League press conference, I said we’d do the maximum we could. This is the maximum we can do.”

He was also asked about him not continuing with the team. However, the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner denied such development. Mbappe was re-signed last year for a whooping amount and the club reportedly has no intention of selling him to another side in the upcoming season. His contract will expire next year.
