The sports and entertainment firm Capri Sports is the owner of Bengal Warriors. They are one of the twelve teams competing in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) right now.

Superstar raider Maninder Singh leads the Bengal Warriors, which are coached by the experienced Kasinathan Baskaran. This season, the Netaji Indoor Stadium in Kolkata will host their home games.

Capri Sports, the parent company of the Bengal Warriors, was founded by Capri Global in the aim of empowering Indian sportsmen by providing them the necessary resources. In addition to the Pro Kabaddi squad, Capri Sports is connected to three more teams in different sports.

These are the Rajasthan Warriors who play in the Ultimate Kho Kho League, the Sharjah Warriors within the ILT20, and the UP Warriorz inside the Women’s Premier League (WPL).

Akshay Kumar, the Bollywood celebrity and worldwide icon, co-owns Capri Sports with filmmaker Jinisha Sharma. Capri Sports is committed to meeting the needs of young people by developing infrastructure, offering comprehensive sports programmes, and giving mentorship.

It is actively engaged in grassroots efforts to develop young talent by giving them exposure and opportunity, as well as to support the expansion of sports in India. Making a difference in the Indian sports landscape is the company’s main goal.

Bengal Warriors finished ninth in the first season’s points standings, indicating a lacklustre start to the Premier League. They qualified for the playoffs for the first time ever in season 3, achieving fourth in the points table, after placing sixth in season 2. But they fell short against U Mumba in the semi-final.

The Bengal Warriors, who were eliminated in season four, returned for season five, this time placing first in Group B. They later suffered a defeat against Patna Pirates in the second qualifier. In addition, they were defeated by Dabang Delhi in the season 6 eliminator.

The Bengal Warriors defeated Dabang Delhi in season 7 to eventually win the PKL title, however in seasons 8 and 9, they were unable to make it to the playoffs.
